Arthur Duff (Wiesbaden, 1973) has always focused on creating complex spaces of experience, both visual and physical, which use laser projections or pulsating images (whether luminous or obtained through patterns and embroideries), to give life to always surprising configurations, in our present largely built on digital and virtual-reality parameters. This book is the first attempt to rationalize and present the multifaceted continuity of his artistic research, in its determination to reconnect technology and physicality, science and humanism, ceaseless information flow and interpretative connections. The objective is to showcase the continuity and coherence in the diverse expressions of Duff’s work, offering a unified vision for interpreting his various work methods and their distinctive topicality: from drawing to embroidery, from knotted compositions to laser projections, from volcanic rock sculptures to neon installations.
