One of the largest exhibition spaces in Europe, focused on the promotion of contemporary art, was born in 2004 following the conversion of the old industrial factories in the Bicocca district of Milan. With its 15,000 square metres, Pirelli HangarBicocca also hosts permanent installations, such as The Seven Heavenly Palaces by Anselm Kiefer, while in the garden La Sequenza by Fausto Melotti stands out.
