Mario Codognato was chief curator at Belvedere21 in Vienna from 2014 to 2016, curating exhibitions by Olafur Eliasson, Tomás Saraceno, and Sterling Ruby. He is currently director of the Anish Kapoor Foundation (since 2016) and Berggruen Arts and Culture (2022), both in Venice.
