Costanza Paissan
is an independent curator. She lives and works in Rome. She has a doctorate in contemporary art history and has written for Alias magazine, the daily newspaper il manifesto and cura.magazine, for which she has worked as Managing Editor and Web Editor. From 2008 to 2011 she was curator at the MACRO in Rome, where she organized a number of different exhibition and publishing projects, focusing on the work of the younger generations, artistic collaboration and dialogue between curators. In 2012 she was the curator in residence at La Galerie in Noisy-le-Sec, France, where she presented the group show 'Les monuments invisibles'. She has worked with the Fondazione Adriano Olivetti, participating in the publishing and exhibition coordination for the 'Trans:it' project, a fringe event at the 2005 Venice Biennale. She has translated and edited various contemporary art books for international publishing houses, including Phaidon and Electa Mondadori.
