Kenneth E. Silver è Silver Professor of Art History alla New York University e Adjunct Curator of Art presso il Bruce Museum (Greenwich, Connecticut). Esperto di arte moderna e contemporanea, è stato eletto a Cavaliere dell’Ordine delle arti e delle lettere dal Ministero della Cultura francese. Ha ricevuto numerose borse di studio, tra le altre da Getty Research Institute, Andrew Mellon Foundation e National Endowment for the Humanities.
